May 2022 Hybrid (virtual or in person) RADE Meeting

Welcome to our first 2022 RADE meeting!

Come and learn about insulin past, present and future, we hope you are able to join us!

This will be a hybrid program - you will have the opportunity to attend virtually or in person (with dinner) depending on your availability and comfort level.

St. John Fisher College, Wegmans School of Pharmacy is graciously providing virtual and in person support for this program. We are looking forward to learning about this extremely important topic from University of Rochester's Dr. Steven Wittlin, MD. He has given invited presentations internationally and has extensive research and publication experience on diabetes, insulin and a variety of other topics. On May 18th he will present an interactive live webinar and in person lecture on "The History of Insulin on the 100th Anniversary of Its Use - and its   future" 

Together we will learn:

 1. Review the history of insulin and understand how it revolutionized the treatment of diabetes 

 2. Examine the historically available insulin agents and comprehend how this history impacts the currently available insulin products 

 3. Assess the current insulin pipeline, the similarities and advancement of future insulin products and their proposed place in therapy 

This activity is approved for 1 hour of continuing pharmacy & nursing education credits

In collaboration with St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy we offer ACPE accredited CPE credits. For more information check out the WSOP webpage. This activity has been approved for 1 hour of Continuing Pharmacy Education. There is no commercial support of this event.
